    摘要：本文就眼防护领域欧洲标准中若干条款难以理解的原因进行了分析，指出其原因有二：5个相关公式中系存在错误；光漫射测试原理示意图中系省略了某些元素。进而给出了更正意见，补充了相关辅助性元素并对该图进行了解读。

Possible Interpretation for the issue of

Eye-protection in European standards

    Abstract: This paper analyzes the reasons that why the European standard in some areas of eye-protection terms are difficult to understand. The first reason is that there are some mistakes in five related formulas. The second reason is there are some elements omitted in light-diffusing testing principle diagram. Then the correct proposals are given and relevant supporting elements of the picture are supplemented.

    笔者2008年参与《GB/T 3609.2—2009职业眼面部防护 焊接防护 第二部分：自动变光焊接滤光镜》起草过程中，在研读关于个人眼睛防护领域的相关欧洲标准时，对几个问题积累了一些思考。现有暇整理出来就教于各位。

    在眼防护领域，欧洲有一系列标准，其中与自动变光焊接滤光镜相关的标准主要有：

    EN 165 Personal eye-protection —Vocabulary（个人眼防护—术语）；

    EN 166 Personal eye-protection— Specifications（个人眼防护—技术规范）；

    EN 167 Personal eye-protection —Optical test methods（个人眼防护—光学测试方法）；

    EN 169 Personal eye-protection—Filters for welding and related techniques—Transmittance requirements and recommended use（个人眼防护—焊接和相关操作用滤光镜—透过率和推荐的用法）；

    EN 379 Personal eye-protection— Automatic welding filters（个人眼防护—自动变光焊接滤光镜）。

    研读这些PDF版标准的条款，发现其中有若干处若按照原文很费解。究其原因，一是或许因录入、排版、校对的疏忽而导致文本有误，二是因省略了某些信息所致。

    一、关于亮度（luminance）的定义公式

    在《BS EN 165:2005 Personal eye-protection —Vocabulary》中，有关于亮度（luminance）的定义，其英语原文为：

    simplified to the standard case, luminance is the quotient of the luminous intensity I and the surface perpendicular to the direction of radiation as a projected plane (A.cosφ):

    Unit : cd/m².

    二、关于折算后的亮度系数（因数）[luminance coefficient (factor), reduced]的定义公式

    在《BS EN 165:2005 Personal eye-protection —Vocabulary》中，对折算亮度系数（因数）[luminance coefficient (factor), reduced]进行了定义，其原文为：

    Unit: (cd / m²)/lx.

    按照其文字理解，“为了获得由滤光器的透过率所折算后的亮度系数l^*，需将亮度系数l 除以滤光器的光透射率因子τ”

2.77条提及的亮度系数（luminance coefficient），在“BS EN 165:2005”中的定义如下：

    quotient of the luminance of the surface element in the given direction and the illuminance on the medium (of a surface element on the surface of the medium in a given direction under specified illumination conditions)

    Unit: (cd/m²)/lx = sr ^-1.

    即：

    亮度系数

    给定方向上表面元的亮度与介质上的照度之比（指定照明条件下在介质表面给定方上向的表面元）。

至于2.76提及的照度（illuminance），“BS EN 165:2005”给出的定义为：

    radiation power evaluated photometrically

    Unit: Lux (lx).
